We believe that clinicians who excel in one area provide far better clinical outcomes for their patients than those who are average at everything. We specialise in Neuromusculoskeletal and Orthopaedic disorders with a special interest in chronic Pain Management and physical health. We excel in what we do however, if we believe that a condition will be more appropriately managed by another health professional, we will quickly provide a referral as necessary because ultimately we want is best for the patient/client.

You do not need a GP referral to see a Physiotherapist.
If your visit is in relation to a Workcover or insurance claim, you may be required by a third party to have a GP referral prior to seeing a Physiotherapist.
A GP may refer a patient to a Physiotherapist as part of a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan (previously called an Extended Primary Care (EPC) plan).

Yes, however PRIDE Physiotherapy is not a bulk billing practice and you will need to make a gap payment. Medicare will typically rebate around $52 for a standard consultation. Rebates are processed through the Easyclaim system via HICAPS together with a payment of the full service fee with the rebate paid directly to your card. Please note that if your Medicare card does not work (this can affect older cards), you will be provided with a paper receipt for the full payment and will need to claim your rebate through Medicare in person.
If you have an urgent question or concern in relation to an appointment, you may email and we will respond as quickly as possible.
If you have private health insurance with ‘Extras’ cover, Physiotherapy should be covered. The amount of coverage (rebate) depends on upon the insurer and your level of cover. With your insurance card we can provide an exact quote on site via the HICAPS terminal.
